hey,
i'm michelle!

I danced for 15 years. Tap was my favorite!
Why I Love What I Do
When I was growing up, my siblings and I would each get our own disposable cameras to play with. I always looked forward to getting them. I received my first digital camera when I was 11... that little Kodak EasyShare went with me everywhere. I eventually grew into DSLRs and now here we are!
I went to college for photography and have dabbled in an array of fields (will always love my Warped Tour Photographers Pit era).
I was a dancer for 15 years until injuries ended my dancing career. I love being connected to the art through local dancers and studios, having spent 22 years both as a dancer and photographer with my home studio. I've been able to photograph dancers from the New York City Ballet, The Royal Ballet, Dutch National Ballet, and so many others!
Being a photographer has lead me to so many incredible people and opportunities. I can't wait to see where this field takes me next, and I hope to see you along the way!
